Kazakhstan, Aksai, October 13, 2011 Elster creates AMI for Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V., Kazakhstan

Karachaganak Petroleum Operating BV -- a consortium of companies joined together for implementation of the Karachaganak  project of development of the oil industry in Kazakhstan. The consortium includes British Gas Group (BG Group) (United Kingdom) (its subsidiary BG Kazakhstan), Eni (Italy) with a 32.5% share of capital, Chevron (U.S.) – with 20% and Lukoil (Russia) with a 15% share of capital.

Karachaganak Petroleum Operating (KPO) B.V. operates one of the largest oil and gas fields in the world.
