Elster Ukraine was launched in 2004 and was highly effective in the market. In productive cooperation with local partners Elster successfully carried out a number of massive projects (Metering Systems for Service-Invest and for DonetskOblEnergo, meters supply for UkrHydroEnergo and for UkrZheleznitsa).
In early June 2009 Elster Group announced new policy in Ukraine Kiev branch of Russian company Elster Metronica was to be set up to insure the services improvement.
Elster Metronica filed a branch office in Ministry of Economics of Ukraine September 18th.
